I watched this 42-minute short film on YouTube, and I instantly felt dark vibes. It looks like a play with three bestiality bunnies—a male and two female– in different scenes, performed in the same living room scene on a rainy night. The background music is quite eerie, insinuating the dark cult or Illuminati. It sounds like a satanic ritual of some kind. There are two lamps on, but this room looks dim, projecting shadows of the three fearful bestiality bunnies.

The dialogue between Jack, Suzie, and Jane sounds creepy. Sometimes, the characters perform a monologue. The characters talk in a dull, gloomy, and monotonous tone, which adds to the eeriness of each scene. Their actions tends to be minimal, displaying their fearfulness of their surroundings. It appears they witnessed something shockingly traumatic. A murder? Sacrifice? A dark murder mystery?

Toward the end, the door opens, and the three bestiality bunnies hear a female screaming outside. They just stare at the open door, before one of the female bestiality bunnies shuts and locks the door. Although fearful, they act very calm and collected at all times. The color brown symbolizes strength, reliability, stability, dependability, practicality, and the solid earth. It tends to be grounding because of its connection to nature. It can also symbolize warmth, comfort, and abundance. The three rabbit characters tend to be there for each other, comforting each other as they calmly deal with their dark surroundings. Brown also indicates that they feel secure with each other, often reassuring each other. Although the living room looks very simple and minimal, it also depicts warmth, coziness, and comfort because the three rabbit characters appear to be close with each other.

Written and directed by David Lynch as well as composed by Angelo Badalamenti, the voices of the bestiality bunnies include Naomi Watts, Laura Harring, Scott Coffey, and Rebekah Del Rio.

It is considered a dark sitcom, similar to a black comedy. It tends to have a “plotlessness,” because this black comedy doesn’t have a basic plot.

The scene is mostly in brown, including the brown rabbits. Brown carpet, brown furniture, brown door, and brown heater. Brown is a drabby color, which can also symbolize the earth and dirt, because rabbits live underground for their safety. Rabbits tend to be very nervous and scared animals, always fearful of their surroundings because they are constantly being hunted. It appears they fear for their life because they saw something traumatically shocking.

There are also demonic scenes, where the whole living room is covered with a dramatic red light, which looks like a demon possession or satanic ritual.

Born on January 20, 1946 in Missoula, Montana, David Keith Lynch often created independent and artistic body horror and noir films that included drama, mystery, comedy, and thriller films. Such films tended to be quite surrealistic, but in an eerie way, similar to the recent 2024 film, The Substance by Coralie Fargeat.  Lynch died on January 16, 2025 in Los Angeles, California from emphysema, cardiac arrest, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and dehydration. After being diagnosed with emphysema in 2020, he remained at home and he quit smoking in 2022. He had been smoking since he was eight years old, which affected his breathing, even though he was still healthy. Although he was safely evacuated from his LA house during the January LA wildfire, the smoke inhalation of the wildfires probably contributed to his death. He later died at his daughter’s house in Los Angeles at 78.
